i constructed it in photoshop. origianly there was a women in the plastic bag, but i smudged it, and used the burn tool to create a shadow of something, (i didn't really want to categorize it eg. save just dogs;saves just cats etc.)so it could be any animal in general. took a picture of a wall, darkened it, added a drop shadow below the bag, then found paw prints, smudged them down the bag ( so it looked like the animal was shot, and bled to death but still tried to get out ) and bullet holes and blood splatters. I know it's cruel and macabre, but i didn't want it to be cute and fuzzy and attractive for all the wrong reasons. I wanted people to realize just what some animals go through, and the reality of the image, gets my messsege across. I"m not a sick demented person

yeah i got confused on my titles.. that technique was for another one. the image of the dog, was an animal being starved to death, I added the bat for effect.
